The Wastewear Chef Jacket Jona combines comfort with functionality in a relaxed T-shirt style. The stretch fabric provides full freedom of movement, while the chest pocket, the pen pocket on the sleeve and the apron loop on the back make it practical and user-friendly. A perfect combination of relaxed style and kitchen performance.
What makes Wastewear special is the way it's dyed: the chef jacket is coloured using food waste and surplus instead of chemicals. This saves up to 20 litres of water and 17 kilowatt-hours of electricity per item, we use only organic dyes, and the dyeing process runs five times faster. Each garment is therefore unique in colour.
The green shade comes from three natural extracts: chlorophyll powder, woad plant powder (Isatis tinctoria) and turmeric powder. The jacket is made from a twill of 65% recycled polyester and 35% organic cotton, combined with soft piqué stretch. Available in Light Coal, Woad Blue and Woad Green.

A classic chef jacket is made of sturdy twill. The Jona keeps that sturdiness and adds stretch on top, with an apron loop at the back and a pen pocket on the sleeve.
