About Cheffix
A family business in the true sense of the word.
Cheffix was founded by Rolf van Eden, alongside his wife Astrid and their daughters Nina and Donna. We work together from our head office in Ede and produce in our own factory in North Macedonia, with around 60 employees, many of whom are family.
Meet
The four behind Cheffix
At Cheffix you don't call a call centre. You'll be talking with one of these four or someone from their small team.

As considered as our clothing.
In Ede, Dena Textile Productions built its own head office: a place with room to grow, where the office, showroom and warehouse come together under one roof. Both brands, Cheffix and Dena, are supplied from this building.
Everything sits close together here. Chefs who drop by see and feel the collection in our showroom, and the team you get on the phone walks straight into the warehouse. A building that grows with us.
Our building looks just as far ahead as the clothing we make. With an A+++ energy label, solar panels on the roof and a sustainable construction, we built for the long term.
Sustainability doesn't stop at the fabric for us. From the building we work in to the chef jackets that head into the kitchen: we always choose what lasts longer.

Thousands of chef jackets, always in stock.
In our own warehouse in Ede the collection lies ready: rows full of chef jackets, trousers, aprons and bib aprons, neatly sorted by size, model and colour.
That stock is no coincidence. Because we produce in our own factory, we stay in control of what's on the shelves and keep replenishing. That's how we avoid stockouts and long waits, even when you want to kit out a whole kitchen brigade at once.
Order on a working day and your parcel often ships the same day. We make sure the kitchen keeps running.

Named after Nina and Donna
Our factory in North Macedonia is called Nido, a mix of our daughters' names. About 60 craftspeople work here, many of them family. That creates a close-knit and supportive atmosphere you can't manufacture with a manual.
We visit Nido several times a year. To us it really feels like a second family. That's not marketing speak, when you visit them in the factory you see it straight away. People who've known each other for years, who know each other's children, who lunch together.
By making everything in-house we have full control over the process. Consistent quality, attention to detail, and fits that actually match how a chef works. Not how the manufacturer thinks a chef works.

Award-winning innovation
Winner innovation award.
In October 2024, the expert jury of the Regio Foodvalley Innovation Award honoured us in the Manufacturing category, for chef jackets made from recycled materials. Proof that craftsmanship and sustainability go hand in hand.

Dena, 20+ years of hospitality textiles
What's in the name?
Donna · Eden · Nina · Astrid
The family name and the three women of the family brought together in one name. We used the same logic later for Nido (Nina + Donna).
Cheffix is a brand, not a company. The company is called Dena Textile Productions B.V. and has its head office in Ede. Dena has been around since 2001 and specialises in textiles for hospitality furniture: tablecloths, banquet skirts and chair covers, delivered to restaurants, hotels and caterers across Europe.
Twenty years of working with the same fabrics, the same seamstresses and the same quality standard laid a foundation that Cheffix as a chefwear brand could adopt directly. No learning curve, no startup mistakes. Under that one roof in Ede, two brands now run side by side: Dena for the textiles on the table, Cheffix for the clothing in the kitchen.

What we care about
Four things we won't compromise on
Family first
Not a marketing claim. Our leadership is literally family, our team feels like family, and families work in Nido. It sounds soft but delivers rock-hard quality.
Own production
No subcontractors, no skewed wage structures. We have full control over the process in our own factory. Consistent quality, no surprises.
Proven design
Models are worn by real chefs before we produce them in series. The Nassau collection came out of three days of brainstorming with our ambassador Edwin Vinke in our factory.
Wastewear
Our Wastewear line is dyed with natural pigments from coffee, berries and the woad plant. No two batches exactly alike.
Our guarantees
No fine print, real craft guarantees.
Comfort and quality are what make a garment last. That is why we have our fabrics and our production tested independently, and the wash performance at the Miele Experience Center in Vianen and at industrial laundries. Concrete craft guarantees back every product we make.
Official certifications
OEKO-TEX Standard 100
Every fabric is independently tested for over one thousand harmful substances. Safe on the skin. even during a 12-hour shift at the stove.
amfori BSCI
Our production follows the BSCI code of conduct for fair. safe and controlled working conditions throughout the supply chain.
Our professional guarantees
No fine print. just real professional guarantees.

Everything is made in our own factory in North Macedonia. No middlemen, direct line from design to product.

HACCP-proof
Materials and finish meet the hygiene requirements of professional kitchens and industrial laundries.
Circular material
Our Wastewear line is dyed with food waste (coffee, orange, berries). No chemical dyes.
20+ years of craft
Our factory has been around for over 20 years. 60 craftspeople assembling every product by hand.
