When will my order arrive?

Ordered before 12:00 on a working day and in stock: delivered tomorrow within the Netherlands. Order after 12:00 and expect 2-3 working days. Is a chosen size or colour out of stock? Then we produce it on demand in our own factory; the estimated delivery time is then approx. 3 weeks.

What are the shipping costs?

Shipping within the Netherlands costs €10.84 per order. From €200 you enjoy free shipping. Business customers (B2B) get free shipping from €500 (NL), €750 (BE) or €1,000 (DE). For all other countries the rate is calculated at checkout.

Yes, you automatically receive a track & trace email as soon as your order has been handed over to our carrier.

How do I know which size I need?

Check our detailed size chart per category. Hesitating between two sizes? Take the larger one. Our chef's jackets are not meant to fit tightly.

How do returns work?

Accepted Answer

Returns within 14 days. You pay for the return shipping yourself, unless the product is defective; then the return is free of charge. Send the unworn product with its label back using the return label from your order confirmation email. Refund within 5 working days of receipt.

Can I exchange for a different size?

Yes, just mention it with your return. We'll send the correct size straight away, with no extra shipping costs.

What if the Wastewear shade differs from the photo?

Accepted Answer

That's exactly the point. Every Wastewear batch is unique because we dye with natural waste. A product photo is an average; your item will differ slightly.

What exactly is Wastewear?

Accepted Answer

Our dyed line. We finish the garment completely and only then dye it, with natural pigments from coffee, berries and the woad plant. That is why every batch comes out slightly different.

Is Wastewear sustainable enough to claim it?

Accepted Answer

We don't put figures on the site that we cannot back up, which is why there are no savings numbers on Wastewear. We tell you what we do and why you can see it in the clothing. What is hard fact: the Innovatieprijs Regio Foodvalley 2024, won with chef jackets made from recycled materials.

How long does the Edwin Vinke collection last?

The Edwin Vinke jackets are made of cotton and polyester and washable at 60 degrees. With good care they will last you a long time.
