Naming the managing director is not optional: in Germany, §5 of the Digitale-Dienste-Gesetz requires a "Vertreten durch" in the imprint, and in France the law requires a directeur de la publication. For both markets this field refers to the same person.
Product safety and manufacturer
Regulation (EU) 2023/988 on general product safety obliges us to state, in distance selling, who the manufacturer is and who is responsible for the product within the European Union. For the items we produce ourselves this is the same party:

If we sell an item made by someone else, we state the details of that manufacturer and, where that manufacturer is established outside the European Union, of the responsible person in the Union with the item itself. The item number by which a product can be identified appears on the product page, on the order confirmation and on the packing slip. The fibre composition and the care instructions appear on the label in the item, as Regulation (EU) 1007/2011 prescribes. If you would like to know them beforehand, request them at sales@dena.nl; we will send them to you before you order.
Do you have a question about the safety of an item, or do you wish to report that something is wrong with it? E-mail sales@dena.nl stating the order number and the item number. We treat such a report as a priority and, where the regulation requires it, we inform the competent market surveillance authority and the buyers concerned.
Dispute resolution
If you have a complaint, please report it to us first at sales@dena.nl. We respond within fourteen days. Dena Textile Productions B.V. is not affiliated with any disputes committee; if we cannot resolve the matter together, you are free to bring the case before the competent court as described in article 17 of the terms and conditions.
The European ODR platform was discontinued on 20 July 2025 and is therefore no longer a route for online disputes.
