Sustainable chef wear by Cheffix

Our promise

Comfort and quality is sustainability.

Sustainability isn't a sticker on the label for us. It's in the choices we've been making since 2001. producing ourselves, having our fabrics tested and making chef wear that lasts for years.

The most honest form of sustainability is clothing that lasts longer.
What we believe in

The most honest form of sustainability is clothing that lasts longer.

Many brands talk about sustainability in terms of packaging and marketing. We start somewhere else. with the jacket itself. A chef coat with a short lifespan is never sustainable, no matter how you frame it.

That's why everything we do comes down to two things. Comfort: chef wear that stays comfortable throughout the shift, moves with you and never gets in your way. And quality. we produce chef wear in our own factory that withstands service and industrial washing for years.

Comfort and quality is sustainability. What lasts longer can be worn longer, without compromises. That's better for the chef, better for your budget and better for the world.

Premium quality

We make clothing built to keep working. Shift after shift, year after year.

Sustainability doesn't start with a label, but with craftsmanship you feel the moment you take the fabric in your hands. From the weave to the final stitch, we choose quality that doesn't just survive a long kitchen shift, but comes through it beautifully. Take a closer look.

01The fabric

It all starts with the yarn.

We choose a knitted cotton pique: a fabric with character that feels supple and breathes well in the heat of the kitchen. It's a structure that keeps its colour and shape, wash after wash after wash.

02The seams

Built not to let go.

A chef jacket lives in the places you never see. That's why we reinforce exactly the vents, the hems and the points that take the most strain, and stitch them twice. So the seam gives with your movement instead of coming apart, even after years of bending, lifting and turning at the stove.

03The finishing

The details you only miss when they're gone.

Neat cuffs that stay neat, buttons that hold firm and a placket that sits flat. These small things are the difference between clothing that looks cheap and clothing you wear with pride. That's why we finish the inside as carefully as the outside.

How we do it

Five ways we combat waste.

No vague promises, but concrete choices in production, materials and service.

01

Own factory, short supply chain

We produce in our own factory in North Macedonia. No unknown intermediaries, no hidden links. We know exactly where every thread comes from.

02

Made for industrial cleaning

Our fabrics and stitching are tested for thousands of wash cycles. The longer a jacket lasts, the less needs to be produced and discarded.

03

Independently certified

OEKO-TEX Standard 100 on fabrics and amfori BSCI code of conduct in production. Independently verified and auditable, not just promises.

04

Wastewear: dyed with waste

Our Wastewear line gets its colour from natural pigments out of coffee, berries and the woad plant, instead of a synthetic dye concentrate.

05

Honest about what we do

We share where and how we make, and what can improve. Sustainability is a direction, not a destination, and we're transparent about that.

Our partners

We work with the best textile manufacturers.

We make most of our clothing in our own factory. For fabrics and techniques that call for true specialists, we work with textile manufacturers that are among the best in their field.

These are not changing, anonymous addresses. They are long-term partners we know and visit, held to the same standards as our own factory: certified fabrics, good working conditions and a finish that survives years of industrial washing.

Award-winning innovation

Winner innovation award.

In October 2024, the expert jury of the Regio Foodvalley Innovation Award honoured us in the Manufacturing category, for chef jackets made from recycled materials. Proof that craftsmanship and sustainability go hand in hand.
